The name I want to highlight in this post is that of American actor Richard Schiff, who plays “Dr. Aaron Glassman” in the acclaimed ABC drama series “The Good Doctor” (launched in 2017), based on the award-winning 2013 South Korean series of the same name.
However, Richard Schiff first gained prominence for his portrayal of “Toby Ziegler” in the television series “The West Wing”, a role that earned him an Emmy Award in 2000.
Actor Richard Schiff does not yet have an Oscar or a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Richard Schiff was born on May 27, 1955, in Bethesda, Maryland, United States, and is 71 years old.
Richard Schiff has been married since 1996 to fellow American actress Sheila Kelley (1961-). The couple has two children who are also actors: a son, Gus Schiff (1994-), and a daughter, Ruby Kelley (2000-).

I remember him from a classic crime film: “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three”; although audiences more readily recall the famous 2009 remake starring Denzel Washington and John Travolta, or even the original 1974 classic. Richard Schiff appeared in an intermediate version, playing a character in the 1998 TV movie. He also won an Emmy Award for his performance as Toby Ziegler, the White House Communications Director for the U.S. President, in the television series “The West Wing”.
