Brooke Shields - ©Theda Bara

The name I present in this post is Brooke Shields, an American actress and model who rose to fame as a child and teenager in the classic “The Blue Lagoon” (1980), playing the character “Emmeline Lestrange”. Shields also achieved great success as one of the most photographed and recognized models in the world, having studied at Princeton University from 1983 to 1987, where she graduated in French Literature.

Despite her fame, Brooke Shields has never received a major award as a film or television actress. She also does not have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Brooke Christa Camille Shields, born on May 31, 1965, in Manhattan, New York, United States, is now 60 years old.

Brooke Shields has been married twice, the first time to former American professional tennis player Andre Kirk Agassi (1970-), one of the only tennis players to win all four Grand Slam tournaments. The marriage lasted less than two years, from 1997 to 1999. Her second and current marriage, since 2001, is to Christopher Thomas Henchy (1964-), an American producer, director and screenwriter. The couple have two daughters: the eldest, Rowan Francis Henchy (2003-), is a model, and her sister, Grier Hammond Henchy (2006-), is studying film production.
