The actress that I highlight this time, became known as: “The Girl of a Thousand Faces”. Florence Lawrence, for her versatility on the scene, was another great actress of the silent film era.
It is considered that Florence Lawrence was, along with another actress named Florence (Turner), one of the first actresses in the world to be successful.
She was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, on January 2, 1886 and died in Beverly Hills, California, United States, on December 28, 1938, still young, aged 52.
Florence was married three times. The first time was with the American silent film actor Henry Lewis Harry Solter (1873-1920), from 1908 to 1920; of whom she became a widow; then she married the singer Charles Woodring (1855-1933), from 1921 to 1932, whom she divorced; and, finally, with the politician Henry Bolton (1843-1934), from 1933 to 1934, of whom she was again widowed and never married.
