The actor I highlight in this post is Joseph Pesci, also known as Joe Pesci, who, in addition to acting in gangster films, is a good-natured soul, always acting with a comedic streak, as in the four films in the franchise: “Lethal Weapon” (1987, 1989, 1992 and 1998), where he played “Leo Getz”, an inconvenient and clumsy lawyer; and everyone remembers well the bumbling thief “Harry Lime” from: “Home Alone” (1990) and “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” (1992). Joe Pesci won the Oscar for best supporting actor in (1991), in the film: “Goodfellas” (1990), living the biographical character: “Thomas Anthony DeSimone”, also known as: “Tommy DeVito”, who was a criminal American, of Italian origin, who worked for mafia families in New York and Los Angeles. Ten years earlier, in (1981), he received his first Oscar nomination, also for best supporting actor, for: “Raging Bull” (1980), but did not win. 

Joseph Pesci was born on February 9, 1943 in Newark, New Jersey, United States.

The actor was married and divorced twice from two American actresses. He was first married to Claudia Martha Haro (1968-) from 1988 to 1992, with whom he has a daughter, Tiffany Pesci (1990-) and then to Angela Kay Everhart (1969-) from 2000 to 2008. Joe Pesci currently not is married.
