Jim, in addition to being an actor/comedian, is a screenwriter, producer and painter, known for playing comedic roles in films: “The Mask” (1994), “Ace Ventura” (1994 and 1995) and “Dumb & Dumber” (1994), between others. Jim Carrey underwent a strong depression after divorcing his first wife, American actress, producer and writer Melissa Womer, with whom Carrey has her only daughter, actress Jane Carrey (1987-). The actor is one of the big names in cinema who has already talked about his fight against this disease. He said: “I lost 8 years with a person just to find that she was a strange person who slept in the same bed with me. Many times we never know someone in depth, there is always something that this person can hide from us. This toxic relationship has put me in depression, but now I have no depression. There is no depression experience. I was years ago, but now, when the rain arrives, it rains, but it passes.”

Carrey is another talented actor who doesn’t have a star on the Los Angeles Walk of Fame.
