Wolves always attack only in a pack. Forgive me, Theodosia, but the wolves are the NATO countries (led by the USA), which gather in a pack and attack some unfortunate country—like Vietnam, Yugoslavia, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Venezuela, or Cuba...
Not everything revolves around politics. Cats are animals, buffaloes are animals, lions are animals, reindeer are animals, and pandas are animals; why wouldn't wolves be animals? It is true that they aren't tame like domestic dogs, but they act like a large, close-knit family that cooperates and protects the members of its pack. Your poem is beautiful, my friend Theodosia; you are a sweet person who truly values family. Kisses!!!
I like that it starts with “we”, so the howling at the end feels shared and not lonely. Looking after the pack all day and then getting your moment under the moon, I could do with a night like that.
Bom dia Theodósia. A cultura brasileira é riquíssima. Realmente, existem lobo alfas. No Brasil temos o lobo-guará, pena que é uma espécie em extinção. Uma excelente sexta-feira para você e seus familiares em Hollywood e um grande abraço do seu amigo carioca.
This lovely haiku is a beautiful tribute to the wolves' strong sense of pack protection—much like the bond we humans share with our families. Sending you a big hug, Theodosia 🤗
Lindo poema amo la luna. Te mando un beso.
