Returning from vacation, the first name I bring to you in this post is that of the legendary Anglo-American actress born in England, Elizabeth Taylor, who won the Oscar for best actress on two occasions: 1961 and 1967. In 1961, for her performance in the film “BUtterfield 8” (1960), playing the role of “Gloria Wandrous”, a charming New York prostitute with a disturbing past. She falls in love with a married millionaire man, but has doubts about whether she can dedicate herself to just one love. In 1967, she won her second statuette for her performance in the film “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” (1966), playing the role of “Martha”, a frustrated and domineering woman.

In addition to the two Oscars for Best Actress, Elizabeth Taylor won 4 Golden Globes: Best Performance, in 1957; Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, 1960: “Suddenly, Last Summer”, character “Catherine Holly”; Henrietta Award 1974 and Cecil B.
