But the actor won two important awards: a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series (1984), for: “Magnum” and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series (1985), also for: “Magnum”.

Tom Selleck earned his star on the Los Angeles Walk of Fame at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in the TV category.

The actor was born Ernest Thomas William Selleck, in Detroit, Michigan, United States, on January 29, 1945, and is now 78 years old.
