The name I introduce to you in this post is Sylvester Stallone, this legendary American actor, director, screenwriter and businessman. He is also known by his closest friends as Sly Stallone. Stallone became famous for his roles in Hollywood action films and is one of the highest-grossing stars, playing the characters: the boxer “Rocky Balboa” and the soldier “John Rambo”.

Stallone was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor in (1977), for: “Rocky”, where he played the protagonist of this film series, but did not win. The film “Rocky” won 3 Oscars, in the following categories: Best Picture, Best Director and Best Editing. The most important award the actor won in his vast film career was a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in the film “Creed” (2016), where he once again played the character: “Rocky Balboa”.

Sylvester Stallone has a star on the Los Angeles Walk of Fame, at 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, in the motion picture category.

Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone was born on July 6, 1946, in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, New York, United States, and is now 79 years old.

Sylvester Stallone was married three times, first to the American artist, photographer, filmmaker and writer Alexandra Jane Czach, known publicly as: Sasha Czack (1950-) from 1974 to 1985; His second marriage was to Danish actress, presenter, singer and model Gitte Nielsen, known publicly as Brigitte Nielsen (1963-) from 1985 to 1987 and his current marriage is to former American model and actress Jennifer Flavin Stallone (1968-) since 1997. 

Sylvester Stallone has five children, two sons with Sasha Czack and three daughters with Jennifer Flavin. American actor Seargeoh Stallone (1979-) is the eldest of the children; his brother Sage Stallone (1976-2012) was an American actor and director, who died of a heart attack on July 13, 2012, at the age of 36, in his apartment in Los Angeles, United States. There is much speculation that his death was related to an overdose of drugs mixed with alcohol, but a toxicology test found no signs of drugs. Sage Stallone who played the son of “Rocky Balboa” in the film “Rocky V” (1990), in reality suffered from atherosclerosis, a disease that caused a fatal heart attack. His daughters are Sophia Rose Stallone (1996-), who is an American social media influencer; American actress and model Sistine Rose Stallone (1998-) and American actress Scarlet Rose Stallone (2002-).
