The actress I highlight in this post is Lucille Ball, famous for acting in the American television sitcons CBS: “I Love Lucy” from 1951 to 1957 and “The Lucy Show” from 1962 to 1968, among other productions.

Lucille Ball was an American actress, comedian, singer, model, film executive, and television producer. Her career started in 1929 when she was a model. Shortly after, Lucille ventured onto Broadway as an actress using the stage name “Diane Belmont”.

Lucille Ball has two stars on the Los Angeles Walk of Fame, at 6436 Hollywood Boulevard, Film category and at 6100 Hollywood Boulevard, TV category.

Actress born Lucille Désirée Ball, August 6, 1911, Jamestown, New York, United States, died April 26, 1989, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, United States, aged 77.

Lucille Ball was married twice, the first to Cuban musician and actor Desiderio Alberto Arnaz y de Acha III, better known as Desi Arnaz (1917-1986), from 1940 to 1960, famous for his role “Ricky Richard” on the series on TV: “I Love Lucy”, with whom he had two children: the American actress and singer Lucie Désirée Arnaz (1951-) and the American actor and musician Desi Arnaz Jr. (1953-); after their separation, she was married again to the American comedian Gary Morton (1924-1999), from 1961 to 1989, with whom she lived until the date of his death.

    I remember “Lucille Ball” well, the series “I Love Lucy” was shown here in “Brazil”, probably in reruns, because it was in the 1980s, even so it was successful at the time.

  14. Bonito artículo dedicado a esta fantástica actriz Lucille Ball que protagonizó numerosas películas clásicas ya de Hollywood. Debo decir que a mí las películas clásicas de Hollywood normalmente me encantan. Porque si bien hoy en día Hollywood siga haciendo unas películas extraordinarias, de hecho es el lugar donde hacen las películas extraordinarias, lo cierto es que usan ya efectos especiales demasiado salvajes y. Y en cambio las películas clásicas de Hollywood de las que participaba esta extraordinaria y buenísima actriz, lo que primaba primero era el guión de la película, un guión a través del cual se desarrollaba la historia que solía ser buenísima. Y por supuesto los actores tanto si eran 15 como si eran 1000, se conseguían y llenaban todo el escenario. Qué buenas eran esas películas clásicas de Hollywood. Y qué grande y buena repito era esta actriz a quien has dedicado el artículo
